The TRUTH about the VBEA The VBEA pac that is attacking John Moss with sleazy expensive TV ads states on their campaign literature that their members voluntarily participate in the endorsement of candidates. Their website states the process for endorsement: only members who financially contribute to the pac may participate in the endorsements. Furthermore, they are telling the public that their candidates are who the "teachers support". Is it a violation of election laws to mislead the public in this way??? These attacks are coming from an organization that claims to advocate for our schools. Yet they are attacking an honest man who advocates for responsible spending and understands that he is employed by the people of Virginia Beach and not special interest groups. Oh and John Moss' wife is a teacher !!!!

--Bring back Valedictorian/Salutatorian
--Stop "gifting" a grade of 50 to students who do no work (raise the bar not lower it) --SOLs should not be the focus-- allow teachers to stop "teaching to the test" --School Safety MUST be a priority--- this includes proper student discipline and respect for teachers and staff |
